    • Niamh Jones was our five star yoga instructor for the weekend. Everyone was highly complimentary of her teaching style and I just loved her classes. While we were sitting around chatting during one of the evenings she shared a lot of her knowledge about yoga, reiki and shamanism with our group in a lovely easy-going and understandable manner. Later we have an introduction to the week and some breath work and deep relaxation in the yoga room.

Each day begins with some Pranayama (breath work) and meditation.

Beginners will be introduced gradually to meditation, which will deepen and lengthen in practice over the week. The meditation at the start of the week will be quite short and accessible to all.

This lovely beginning to the day brings us inwards and much more in touch with our inner nature.

While still in this tranquil peaceful space, Niamh will then lead you through a beautiful energizing and invigorating Hatha yoga class which although reasonably gentle will also challenge every single person in the class to their own ability.

Niamh will teach more gentle variations to those who are less fit, while teaching more advanced versions of the postures to those who are already practicing and those who are more fit. There is no comparison made between course participants and each person is encouraged to practice at their own level.

The classes are flowing and designed to encourage you to both enjoy your yoga practice, but also to help get in touch with ‘the inner self’.

      post Christmas relaxation break

After the morning hatha yoga class, we have breakfast and go out for an organized outing into the Burren or by the sea. These outings are great fun, and a lovely way to get to know the other course participants on the course.

Dave knows all the best places to eat and is always ready to help with suggestions on the best dishes in each of the local cafes.

We are always very well looked after and the best seats are always reserved for us.
