  • Niamh Jones was our five star yoga instructor for the weekend. Everyone was highly complimentary of her teaching style and I just loved her classes. While we were sitting around chatting during one of the evenings she shared a lot of her knowledge about yoga, reiki and shamanism with our group in a lovely easy-going and understandable manner. Beginners will be introduced gradually to meditation, which will deepen and lengthen in practice over the long weekend. The start of the weekend will be quite short and accessible to all.

This lovely beginning to the day brings us inwards and much more in touch with our inner nature.

While still in this tranquil peaceful space, Niamh will then lead you through a beautiful energizing and invigorating Hatha yoga class which although reasonably gentle will also challenge every single person in the class to their own ability.

On Saturday and Sunday Dave will take the group out on a guided walk into the Burren hills or by the sea. June is a great month to see many of the wild flowers in the Burren.

This is a great way to be shown some very special places in this beautiful part of Ireland and first time visitors to The Burren are astounded by the beauty and the uniqueness of the spectacular shaped limestone hills which plunge down into the Atlantic.

Sometimes we go for walks along Fanore beach where we often go surfing during the summer months.

Most people come on their own, and these eco yoga retreats are a great way to meet like minded people.

Niamh will teach more gentle variations to those who are less fit, while teaching more advanced versions of the postures to those who are already practicing and those who are more fit. There is no comparison made between course participants and each person is encouraged to practice at their own level.
