Gort to Burren Yoga
- Shortcut from Crusheen see directions next page
- From Limerick (or Loughrea) direction, continue down the main street of Gort
- Take Left at main square (opposite AIB) signed Corrofin
- After 1 km take right signed Kinvara (opposite SuperValue Supermarket).
- After 1.5 Km, take right turn signed "Natural Stone Products". Be careful. Some people miss this turn. You should have measured 1 mile from SuperValue Supermarket, and after bad bend to left, this turn is next on right after the bend, and road dips down
- After 2.5 Km take right alongside Tirnevin church signed Kinvara.
- After about 1 Km, ignore two turns to the left.
- After 2.5 Km reach a fork. The right fork is signed Kinvara
and the left fork has a sign Burren Yoga
- Take the left fork.
- Follow straight road for approx 2 Km, straight through cross roads.
- The house is 1 Km after cross roads on LHS.
Ballyvaughan to Burren Yoga
- From Ballyvaughan take Galway road.
- After approx 12 miles you see an inlet of the sea on your left signed Bell Harbour. Take right turn at Bell Harbour (short cut over hills)
- After 1 Km, Take left at T junction.
- Continue on road for approx 5 Km.
- Come down steep hill (Abbey hill) and take sharp right just before the T juction at the bottom of the hill.
- This sharp right turn takes you onto the New Line.
- Continue for approx 5 Km.
(Straight through cross roads which has left turn to Kinvara).
- Approx 1.5 Km after this cross roads, Take left turn to Gort. Sign for Burren Yoga
- House is 3rd house on right.
Shortcut from Crusheen to Burren Yoga
- Take this road if you are confident on back roads
- Please measure the distance below which is written in bold
- From Limerick / Ennis go through Crusheen village.
- 1 mile past Crusheen, take first left turn signed "Boston"
- Continue on that road (through a few crooked cross roads) for 16.6 Km and take right turn signed "Burren Yoga"
- Burren Yoga is 3rd House on the right hand side.
From Coroffin, Lisdoonvarna, Kilfenora
- From Coroffin take road towards Gort.
- Continue for approx 18 Km until you see Lough Bunny lake on the left hand side
- Just past Lough Bunny lake, take left at cross roads (straight would be Gort)
- Continue 7.9 Km and take right turn signed "Burren Yoga"
- Burren Yoga is 3rd House on the right hand side.
Dublin M6 Motorway to Kinvara
How long does it take to drive from Dublin?
It all depends what time you leave Dublin. On a Friday afternoon the traffic is very bad in Dublin.
Leave Dublin 2.00 PM approx 3 hours to get here
Leave Dublin 3.00 PM approx 3.5 hours to get here
Leave Dublin 4.00 PM approx 4 hours to get here
Leave Dublin 5.00 PM approx 4.5 hours to get here
N4 - M4 - exit at junction 11 signed Galway - M6 - exit 19 signed Limerick. At Kilcolgan take road to Kinvara
From Dublin you have the choice to exit the Motorway early at exit 16 for Loughrea, and take the old back road to Gort. Be aware there are pot holes. Best to remain on the M6 to exit 19 signed Limerick, and then through Kilcolgan, KinvaraYou can view map at

- Take N4 road signed "The West"
- Continue onto Motorway M4 signed "Sligo" or "Galway" and stay on M4 for 45 Km
- Leave M4 at Junction 11 signed "Galway"
- Continue onto M6 signed "Galway". Stay on this motorway for approx 136 km
- Take EXIT 19 signed for Limerick / Oranmore.

- Use map to find way back to M6 after the course as no signs for Dublin M6 yet
- Take first exit at roundabout signed Limerick
- After approx 2 Km take first exit at roundabout signed Limerick
- After approx .5 Km take second exit at roundabout signed Limerick
- Stay on this N18 road through Clarinbridge (3 Km since motorway exit) and reach Kilcolgan village (8 Km since motorway exit)
- In Kilcolgan village, pass Topaz petrol station on RHS
- Take next right N67 signed "Kinvara"
- Continue 10 Km into Kinvara village

Galway to Kinvara
- Take old Limerick road N18 out of Galway (Ignore M6),
and stay on Limerick road.
- Pass through Clarinbridge village, and then come into Kilcolgan village.
- In Kilcolgan, pass petrol station on RHS, and take next right turn signposted Kinvara.
- Follow road for approx 10 km into Kinvara.
Kinvara to Burren Yoga
- From Galway (or Kilcolgan) direction go into Kinvara village.
- Take first left (At Sextons Downtown pub)
- Immediately take right fork Signed Burren Yoga.
- After 2.7 Km go straight through crooked cross roads
- 0.5 Km past the crooked cross roads, take right turn signed Burren Yoga
- Follow narrow twisty winding road for 3.2 Km.
- At crossroads take right signed Burren Yoga
- Continue on 1 Km.
- Centre is on left about 300 metres before T junction.
- Drive in over cattle grid, and take the immediate left marked "Car Park" and
please park car neatly to allow others room to turn easily.

- Alarm clock, shower gel, shampoo, toiletries

- Cash to pay for the full course fee (not credit card or cheque)
- No money has been debited from your credit card. Read line above.
- We do not wear shoes inside the centre, so thick socks or Soft wollen slippers (not sandals, or flip flops or any harder soles than soft wollen or fake fur) for the centre
- Small plastic bottle for water (fresh spring water from taps at centre)

Yogic environment
These courses are a chance for you to take time to yourself and to get away from the outside world. It is an opportunity for you to learn quality yoga and meditation, and to take time to tune inwards.
We ask you to leave the usual outside world behind while you are at the centre.
