The reduced taxi fare can only be availed of
- when not used in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers
- to those who book on a course directly through the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre
- Only for courses that are organized by the centre (90% of all courses)
Not valid
- to those who book through third party companies
- for the Summer Yoga Party
- where an external course organiser hires the centre for their own course (less than 10% of courses)
If you are unsure, please ask the centre, and not the taxi driver.

How to book the reduced fare taxi pickup
When you are booking onto a course (or at least 48 hours before the pickup time) simply phone the taxi number below.
Shannon airport:

Please book your taxi directly yourself and do not involve the centre with your taxi arrangements. If picked up from airport, the taxi company will know whether others are flying in close to your time.
Make sure you tell the taxi you will be travelling to the Burren Yoga Centre.
Pickup locations and prices
Shannon airport
The taxi driver will wait for you at arrivals with your name on a sign.
Cost is €50 for the taxi fare. This is for 1 person. The taxi fare is €65 for 2 or €70 for 3 to 4 people.
Galway airport
The taxi driver will wait for you at arrivals with your name on a sign.
Cost is €30 for the taxi fare. This is up to 2 people. The taxi fare is €40 for 3 to 4 people.
Galway train station
The train station is too busy to meet in the station. Simply walk around the corner to the Great Southern hotel (on Eyre Square)
The taxi driver will wait for you outside the Great Southern Hotel with your name on a sign.
Cost is €30 for the taxi fare. This is up to 2 people. The taxi fare is €40 for 3 to 4 people.
Gort bus stop
The taxi driver will wait for you opposite the AIB bank in the square in Gort.
Cost is €5 for the taxi fare. This is up to 2 people. The taxi fare is €10 for 3 to 4 people.
Important
When you pay the taxi driver, you may need to pay him slightly more than the stated prices above. If this happens he will give you a 'receipt' for your journey, and you will receive a refund at the centre to reduce the price you pay to the above price.
Please note that the refund is only given in cases which satisfy the rules at the top of the page which is 90% of the time.
This reduced taxi rate
only applies to the taxi numbers above. If you simply take another taxi, the reduced rate will not apply.
To get an even cheaper price for your taxi, please contact the taxi driver before you book your flights or your train, and he will let you know what time others are arriving so that you may share the costs with them.
