He teaches Ashtanga and classical Hatha yoga, pranayama, and composes and performs music for chanting with Marla Joy under the group name Swaha.
Ron Reid is co-owner and director of Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto, Canada (www.downwarddog.com).
He endeavours to blend tradition with innovation, and to balance precision with grace.
Students will find his refined approach to practice both challenging and rewarding.
Marla Meenakshi JoyMeenakshi began her journey with Yoga in 1988 when she first went to India to study meditation and yoga philosophy with Swami Shyam .

She has taken classes and workshops with David Swenson, Danny Paradise, Richard Freeman, John Friend, Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty, Eddie Modestini and Niki Doane, John Schumacher, and others, but studies full time with Ron Reid at Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto.
