It is a spiritually uplifting and therapeutic system of yoga that integrates Universal Principles of Alignment and inner body awareness with a celebration of the heart.
This Anusara weekend is one of the few Anusara residential yoga retreats in Ireland. But i am sure it will be the first of many more at Burren Yoga.
During this week-end retreat, you will learn the elegant Universal Principles of Alignment that provide safe, precise and effective instructions allowing each pose to blossom fully.
Through Tahnee's warmth and humor, you will be guided through a wide range of transformational postures that will increase your strength, vitality, flexibility and joy.

Instructor
Tahnee sought yoga in 1999 in Vancouver BC, for relief from years of snowboarding injures that she had accumulated from hucking off cliffs that were probably too big. She realized Yoga was her calling with its mind/body awareness and relocated to Los Angeles to study.

It was in LA that she discovered Anusara Yoga with it’s heart-orientated approach and the Universal Principles of Alignments that had the most profound effect on her, physically transforming both her body and mind.

Tahnee, originally from Canada, is an Anusara-inspired teacher and has lead workshops and classes nationally and internationally. She is known for her uplifting and inspiring attitude as a yoga teacher.

Her classes are challenging, playful and insightful, weaving together both the spiritual contexts and the Universal Principles of Alignment. Tahnee delights in guiding others into discovering the beauty of life around and within them through the power of yoga.

Tahnee enjoys playing on her yoga mat with her daughters Tehya Mar and India Lake spending lots of time in gigglasana and hugasana. She enjoys Ayurvedic cookbooks, surfing in Donegal, jumping horses in Ravensdale and spending time with her family exploring the Irish Culture and History.
