Ashtanga Yoga Teachers Training with Caroline Klebl:

This comprehensive course will focus on the method of teaching Ashtanga Yoga.

How to give adjustments and deepen the postures and practice will be evaluated in detail.

The Sanskrit names of the postures will be introduced and teaching an Ashtanga Yoga Led class will be expained.

The benefits of the specific sequencing, the use of Vinyasa(the movements between postures), Oujaii Pranayama(the sound induced breath) and Bandhas(the three locks or seals) will be included as essential elements of an Ashtanga Yoga class.

The importance of encouraging students to develop a regular practice and the method of transitioning students into a Mysore style class and then conducting a Mysore style class will be covered.

Basic yoga philosophy, including the translation and chanting of the first two chapters of the Yoga Sutras, will be introduced. The Anatomy most relevant to yoga practice will be included in the training.
