Description of course
This course is both a Detox and a yoga course, and also a course where you can learn more about food and nutrition.
Rejuvenate and revitalise in beautiful peaceful surroundings.
This course will include classes on Nutrition, Sprouting, Juicing, Raw foods, and healthy tips for your eating by Miriam Gormally.
It also includes gentle Yoga classes by Dave Brocklebank.
And a (optional) full body massage by a professional massuese.
The food on this course will be very light and nutritious and to get the best from the Detox, it is recommend ed that you modify what you eat for a number of days or weeks before the course.

Detox informationOn this course there will not be the usual outdoor walk in the Burren, but there is free time to take time out in the Burren yourself.
Cost of the course
The cost of the course is €320 and includes accommodation and vegetarian detox meals and a full body massage.
The food is prepared by Miriam Gormally who will be giving the talks on food.
A single room costs €50 extra.
Additional nights stay at the centre
To avail of a cheaper flight you may like to stay an extra night or two. Cost is €30 per night. No meals included.

Suitable for anyone who would like to take time out to Detox and practice some gentle yoga.
Instructors
Miriam Gormally is a yoga teacher and has a wide experience of cooking and also in preparing food for Detoxing and healthy eating.

Her big love is growing and preparing healthy nutritious food.
She does research and displays in the area of Detox and food and works as a radio journalist speculating in spirituality, justice and ecological living. Part of her work involves research and designing displays for promoting healthy eating amongst children. She has also studied macrobioticsand attended courses in optimal eating for health.
She also believes in supporting local organic markets, and provides help to individuals growing their own organic vegetables. She is an avid sprouter with plenty of personal experience in growing as well as in preparing and cooking the food.
Dave Brocklebank is very gentle and clear in his yoga classes. He guides you gently into the practice and includes breathing practices, and letting go of thoughts during the classes. The classes also include deep relaxation known as Yoga Nidra.
In addition to Dave's yoga lifestyle, he also attends Buddhist teachings and
tries to bring these teachings into his own life and dealings with people.
Dave runs the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre, co-ordinating courses, facilitating
workshops and teaching Yoga and Meditation himself. He also maintains his own daily
practice of Yoga and Meditation, and regularly attends Yoga workshops throughout the year.
