This course is an ideal course to get a taste of different types of yoga taught by a very inspirational and dedicated yoga teacher Niamh Jones.
This
mixed yoga weekend will include classes in
- Vinyasa Flow yoga
- Gentle Hatha yoga
- Bikram yoga
- Meditation & Relaxation
On our organised outing into the Burren on Saturday, we will go for walks in the hills and by the sea.
This is an ideal way to treat yourself to a very healthy weekend, try out various styles of yoga, go back to Nature with walks in the Burren hills and by the sea, and hang out with positively like-minded people.
Lots of fun in an informal friendly atmosphere, with yoga of the highest standard.
Excellent practice for toning, losing weight, improving flexibility, and great fun.
And amazing vegetarian meals by Paddi the chef who used to run Seventh Heaven restaurant in Galway city for over 12 years!
Cost of the course
Reduced to €300 (€280 unwaged) and includes accommodation and vegetarian meals.
The food is cooked by Paddi the gourmet vegetarian chef who ran Seventh Heaven the well known restaurant in Galway city.
A single room costs €60 extra.
Additional nights stay at the centre
To avail of a cheaper flight you may like to stay an extra night or two. Cost is €35 per night. No meals included.
Who is the course suitable for
Suitable for beginners to intermediate, but one should be reasonably fit, as some of the yoga classes are quite dynamic.

What type of yoga is best for me ?Instructors
Niamh Jones is a very dedicated teacher and practitioner of Bikram yoga. She is also trained as an ashtanga teacher and teaches a softer variation of Vinyasa flow which makes the flowing sequence more accessible to all.
She guides complete beginners and those more advanced through the practice.
Niamh Jones is from Co. Meath origionally, and moved to Galway in 2001.

She lived in San Fransico for a while where she completed her Bikram teacher training course.
Niamh has taugh many times at the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre in the past few years, and also attend many of the weekend workshops we have here at the centre.
She likes to continue to improve her practice over the years and attends many of the well known Ashtanga teachers who visit the centre such as "Dave Robson & Dave Gelleneau, Richard Spahn, and Granville Cousins.
She even taught an extra Bikram class to Granville and his students during one of his 7-day retreats here at the centre.

Niamh teaches Bikram yoga in Galway city regularly and also Vinyasa flow classes and some gentle yoga cl;asses in Heaford.

Niamh's classes are hot! good fun, and exhilarating. Great way to stretch.
