Be the first to try out our first ever Yoga Boot Camp Weekend and feel the amazing benefits of a weekend of
Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yogalates, and Meditation all in the one weekend giving your body a complete toning, stretching and detoxing from the inside out.
Niamh Jones is a very experienced yoga teacher and she has taught many very successful Yoga Boot Camps before, but this is her first time to run one at the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre.
This weekend will cover everything your body and mind needs !! - various styles of yoga, meditation, pilates and hiking in the Burren Hills together with excellent vegetarian food. It is a great way to give yourself that kick start you need whether you need to lose weight, tone up, deepen your yoga practice or renew your energy .

There will also be meditation classes which will introduce Meditation to beginners and also deepen the practice of those familiar with meditation.

It is also a great way to try out a variety of different yoga classes all in the one weekend.
Each class is individually designed to work on specific parts of your body on a physical level and mental level, so by the end of the weekend you have worked every part of your body and mind inside and out.

Unwaged further discountsThe food is cooked by Paddi the gourmet vegetarian chef who ran Seventh Heaven the well known restaurant in Galway city.
A single room costs €60 extra.
Additional nights stay at the centre
To avail of a cheaper flight you may like to stay an extra night or two. Cost is €35 per night. No meals included.
Who is the course suitable for
Suitable for complete beginners to intermediate, but one should be prepared for a good challenge to your body.
Niamh will give variations so everyone works at their own level.

There are no comparisons made between people, and this course is suitable for everyone.
Instructor
Niamh Jones is a very dedicated yoga teacher and practitioner.
She has a lovely 'easy going personality' and takes the time with each person to ensure they understand the practices that she is teaching and also encourages each person in a wonderful way to reach towards your own potential.
Niamh Jones is from Co. Meath originally, and moved to Galway in 2001.
She lived in San Francisco for a while where she completed her Bikram teacher training course.

Two years later Niamh also completed a separate Ashtanga yoga teacher training.
Since then she teaches Bikram yoga in Galway and is able to draw upon her experience of the stronger Ashtanga yoga while still having a huge experience of teaching softer and more accessible variations of the postures to beginners or those who are less fit.

Niamh's Bikram and Ashtanga experience also give her the ability to teach stronger and more challenging sequences to those in the class who are able for it.

Niamh has taught many times at the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre in the past few years, and also attend many of the weekend workshops we have here at the centre.
This weekend the format of the classes will be as folows;
Saturday morning’s Vinyasa Flow Yoga class Niamh will focus on
Lengthening, Strengthening and Toning the lower body – legs and hip area, We will also work deeply into the hips (Yin Yoga), working to create ease, openness and strength. Ending in breath work to balance the energetic body and calm the mind helping us to bring our awareness inside. Finishing in Deep Relaxation.
Saturday afternoon Niamh will teach a Hot Yoga class and will focus on Sweating out all your toxins !! Whole body workout stretching and toning every part of the body.
Saturday Evening – Meditation We will finish off the day with some breath work to balance the energetic body and calm the mind finishing in a journey through the chakras bringing awareness and understanding of each one helping to clear and cleanse any blockages on a physical, mental and emotional level which will leave you feeling grounded, cantered and re-balanced.
Sunday Morning – Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Meditation– Focus Focus: Lengthening, Strengthening and Toning the lower body – legs and hip area. We will also work deeply into the hips once again (Yin Yoga), working to create ease, openness and strength. Ending in breath work to balance the energetic body and calm the mind helping us to bring our awareness inside. Finishing in Deep Relaxation.
Midday Yogalates Focus: Core Strengthening and Toning – working specifically on the stomach and back, followed by upper body toning.

Niamh's classes are tuned to each person within the class, so that each person practices to their own ability. The classes are a combination of getting in touch with one's inner self, letting go of external stresses, and are also challenging and fun.

Niamh's classes are good fun, and exhilarating.
This weekend is guaranteed to leave you feeling toned, stretched, rejuvenated, refreshed and full of energy on all levels.
