More photos from Summer 2005
This Burren rock feels unusual to practice on. Wow its nice to have these surroundings!

And in that direction is the Aran Islands and then after that the next land is America!

Flexibility of the spine

brings the body, organs, and nerves to LIFE

And what better place to be ALIVE than the Burren....

And when one stays at the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre, one is guaranteed that every meal is healthy, delicious and fit for a yoga king or queen ;-)

That's Paddy working away creating a new masterpiece of mouth watering amazing vegetarian food!

Comeon Dave take the photo and let us eat....

From the top of Abbey hill one can see the 12 pins of Connemara on the other side of Galway bay. This hill took us about 40 minutes to walk up and the views are just spectacalor. This photograph lets us just see one particular direction.
The complete 360 degree view has to be seen to be believed.

Lough Bunny is the local lake which gets lovely and warm in the summer.

Even Martha and Isedero from Spain found the water warm enough for them, and that says a lot as the Mediteranian is quite a warm sea.

This park of the Burren has been designated as a national park and it contains the cave where the hermit spent 15 years meditating back in the 8th Century.

Agne from Lithuania said that she felt quite at home in this beautiful land.

And Nature inspired her to reflect the curve of the rainbow.

Meditation sittings in the yoga room are often inspired due to the continued good energies which have been put inot this room.

And James from FranSanCisco gave a spellbinding course to this lucky group of people.

Niamh from Co Meath took this group through their paces, introducing them to hot sweaty Bikram yoga.

And another one of Paddi's feasts was well earned by the group.

Next morning, more Bikram.

And the temperature in the room is over 35 degrees celcius.

And here we go again... one more round of the postures....

And as well as the best quality yoga tuition you will find, the best of vegetarina food cooked by Paddi the chef who ran 7th Heaven restuarant in Galway city for 12 years..... and the best of outdoor adventures facilitated by Dave....
the decor and surroundings of the Burren Yoga and Meditation are inspiring.....

Many of these pieces Dave has brough back from India and Sri Lanka.

A group who has just finished the Detox and Yoga weekend.

Presentation of food is a very important aspect of our appreciation for what we eat.

The lounge upstairs which overlooks the Burren Hills. This is a beautiful peaceful room to chill out in. When the sun shines this room can develop the heat of India which can feel great to just sink into.
And velux windows at either end of the room can create a refreshing airflow if one wishes to smell the fresh air of the Burren.
Underfloor heating keeps one cosy in the Winter.

And Paddi's food brings happiness to the taste buds ;-)

I love yoga !!!!

and the tap water comes straight from the Burren spring.

Thanks for the photos!
Thanks to all of you who sent back some photos from the course you were on in March 2005.
