Ashtanga and Meditation
August 1st - 8th 2008
Description of course
This course will include Ashtanga classes by Ciara Cronin and Meditation classes
This yoga is a challenging dynamic form of yoga where one works quite strongly with the physical body.
The goal of the course is to improve your Ashtanga practice so that you may practice at home after the course.
And also introduce you to meditation so that you can continue on your own at home.
There will also be an organised outdoor trip into the Burren Hills or by the sea each day.
Every second afternoon, we do not have a yoga class, and we go on longer adventures into the Burren and by the sea.
Cost of the course
The cost of the course is €730 and includes accommodation and vegetarian meals.
The food is cooked by Paddi the gourmet vegetarian chef who ran Seventh Heaven the well known restuarant in Galway city.
A single room costs €120 extra.
Additional nights stay at the centre
To avail of a cheaper flight you may like to stay an extra night or two. Cost is €35 per night. No meals included.
Who is the course suitable for
Suitable for beginners to intermediate, but one should be reasonably fit, as the Asthanga yoga is quite dynamic.
