David Magone founded PranaVayu Power Yoga in 2001 to meet the needs of a growing number of students who expressed the desire for a structured, efficient practice. David has offered PranaVayu Yoga in numerous Yoga Centers, colleges and health-oriented settings including Harvard University and the Nike World Headquarters. An avid scholar, he balances his physical practice with studies in Eastern and Western philosophy. David's open, focused approach provides students with a fun, challenging atmosphere for growth and inspiration.
Power yoga
The PranaVayu Lunar Series combines an intuitive, flowing sequencing with meditation techniques and self-reflection. Designed for those with previous Yoga experience, this combination of asana and contemplative exercises provides students with a step-by-step method to build the flexibility and focus required for an intermediate/advanced asana practice. This innovative approach consists of eight sub-sets of postures which are connected by a combination of circular, side, and frontal vinyasa designed to open the body naturally and efficiently.
