Prana Vayu power yoga
7-day course

Upcoming Yoga & Meditation retreat with Dave Brocklebank

Satyananda Yoga and Meditation with Dave Brocklebank 1

June 24th – 1st July 2005

David is the founder of Prana Vayu yoga

David Magone founded PranaVayu Power Yoga in 2001. His teaching approach is strongly influenced by the work of numerous teachers including Andrey Lappa, Andrey Sidersky, Pattabhi Jois, BKS Iyengar and Dharma Mittra.

The PranaVayu Lunar Series combines an intuitive, flowing sequencing with meditation techniques and self-reflection.

It is a strong form of power yoga

There will be plenty of outdoor activites in the Burren and surrounding areas.

And the usual amazing vegetarian meals with Paddi the chef.

June in the Burren

June is a beautiful time to see the flowers in the Burren.

All the wild flowers which began to appear in May are still in abundance, while newer flowers pop up each week, adding to the beauty of the natural surroundings.

The call of the cuckoo can be heard from time to time among the rest of the bird chorus.

One week ago, Gordon Darcy held a dawn chorus in the Burren and over 150 people turned up to hear the chorus at 6:00 am

Don't worry ;-) classes dont start until a civilised 7:00 am. Followed by an invigourating power yoga class.

Beautiful way to start the day for a whole week in the Burren.

June in Ireland, daylight starts well before you rise, and its often light until 11:00 pm in the evening.

Cost of the course

The cost of the course is €630 and includes accommodation and vegetarian meals.

The food is cooked by Paddi the gourmet vegetarian chef who ran Seventh Heaven the well known restuarant in Galway city.

A single room costs €70 extra.

We eat lunch out locally and you will need to pay for this yourself.

Prices to attend part of a course

Additional nights stay at the centre

To avail of a cheaper flight you may like to stay an extra night or two. Cost is €30 per night. No meals included.

Availability of staying an extra night will only be known 1 week before the course start date, and will depend on the numbers attending the previous weeks course.

If the centre is full, you could always stay that night in Kinvara village with one of the many b&b’s.

Who is the course suitable for

This course is suitable for beginners as well as advanced people.
Any complete begnners to yoga must be reasonably fit and interested in working strongly with their physical body.

Absolute beginners will start with basic postures, and more flexible students will work on harder variations.
