Satyananda February 2011 weekend
Our outdoor walk on Saturday by the Flaggy shore.

There is a lovely feeling being by the sea after starting the day with a great yoga and meditation class.

And just before we enter the secret forest, Dave reminds us that we will walk in silence for the next 15 minutes ,,,,,

Tanja who took all these amazing photos,

How is Tadhg able to hide so well?

During the summer months, there is a green canopy of leaves covering this forest, and it is as if shafts of 'green light' move back and forth.
Some people have said they get the feeling that little fairies were playing around, and heard us coming and had only just enough time to hide.... but not enough time to take down their magic webs and veils which they could feel were still 'in the air' ;-)

And after our very short walk back up the 'ancient track' we emerged into the light...

And the views at the top over Galway bay are beautiful.

Not so beautiful is Dave trying to do Neti without a pot....
I guess it must be stress waiting for the baby to arrive ;-)

The light in the sky is ever changing over the Burren.

Many artists and painters come to the west to be inspired by the light and ever changing skies.

After coming back down the hill, it was lovely to be beside the sea again.

With the beach to ourselves.....

And after a lovely lunch at Linnane's lobster bar, back to the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre

The yoga room.....

The Kalachakra mandala

The buddha on the stairway

The lounge upstairs overlooking the Burren hills

The detail is often where one finds beauty in life

And Tanja has a great eye for beauty ;-)
