Yoga and breathwork with Sama Fabian

7-day yoga and breathwork retreat with Sama Fabian

August 25th - September 1st 2006

Description of course

Yoga Sadhana, mindfulness in action.

This retreat is aimed at people who wish to work deeply with their yoga practice on a daily basis with a very experienced teacher; Sama Fabian.

In the course of the week we see how to shift from a physical enquiry to an energetic awareness and spiritual consciousness, on our journey through the koshas.

We move from a comprehensive investigation of how the body works in the different groups of asana to a deeper understanding of prana and energy fields through mindful flows and subtle breath work.

Head and shoulder stands with their respective variations are studied in depth and appropriate time is given to deeply recuperative postures and yoga Nidra.

The course is taught at a general level and suitable for practitioners of any style of Yoga.

There will be plenty of outdoor activites in the Burren and surrounding areas.

And the usual amazing vegetarian meals with Paddi the chef.

Cost of the course

The cost of the course is €670 and includes accommodation and vegetarian meals.

The food is cooked by Paddi the gourmet vegetarian chef who ran Seventh Heaven the well known restuarant in Galway city.

A single room costs €100 extra.

We eat lunch out locally and you will need to pay for this yourself.

Prices to attend part of a course

Additional nights stay at the centre

To avail of a cheaper flight you may like to stay an extra night or two. Cost is €30 per night. No meals included.

Availability of staying an extra night will only be known 1 week before the course start date, and will depend on the numbers attending the previous weeks course.

If the centre is full, you could always stay that night in Kinvara village with one of the many b&b’s.
