Yoga and Core Strengthening Instructor Bio Rachel Beare
Rachel Beare is a very experienced yoga teacher who has trained in Ashtanga yoga and Iyengar yoga as well as with many well know international yoga teachers.
Rachel combines physical yoga asana with breath work and also with meditation to bring an overall balanced approach to one’s practice.
Her teaching also brings a lot of focus to strengthening of the core, and is an ideal way to learn new techniques which you can continue at home after the weekend.
“Core strength is vital for the health, mobility and support of the body”
“Yoga is about connecting and integrating the mind and body – the tangible and intangible so we can gain a deeper awareness and ultimately reach our fullest potential. We haven’t got to wait millennia of human generational evolution and trial and error….. we can evolve within our own lifetimes, right here, right now on our Yoga mats!”

Description of Yoga and Core Strength weekend retreat
Feel toned, stretched, rejuvenated, refreshed and full of energy with Rachel
Who this yoga and core strengthening weekend retreat is suitable for
Suitable for complete beginners to intermediate, but one should be prepared for a good challenge to your body.
Rachel will give variations so everyone works at their own level.
Sign up to our Yoga & Core Strengthening Weekend and feel the amazing benefits as you begin to strengthen the core, tone up the physical body, learn techniques to let go of the thoughts, free up the mind and tap into the essence of who we truly are.
This weekend will cover everything your body and mind needs !! – yoga and core strengthening, pranayama, relaxation, meditation and hiking in the Burren Hills together with excellent vegetarian food.
It is a great way to give yourself that kick start you need whether you need to lose weight, tone up, deepen your yoga practice or renew your energy .
Rachel teaches with honesty and good humour, with a lot of attention to detail so that your practice will develop and deepen over the weekend, and you will leave with new techniques and a way of doing the postures which you can practice with each day after the weekend is over.
“The benefits of Yoga are infinite, calming of the mind and stress reduction, longevity of movement in the joints, increased lung capacity, heightened awareness, promotion of strength, flexibility and health in both the mind and body! Detoxification, core strength, prevention of injury to name but a few….”
There will also be meditation classes which will introduce Meditation to beginners and also deepen the practice of those familiar with meditation.
The devotion of a daily practice brings discipline, steadiness and peacefulness, much needed nowadays as our society becomes rapidly more chaotic and noisy.
Each class is carefully planned and the core strengthening Asana (Yoga poses) bring a sense of groundedness and unshakeable centeredness.
These particular postures help strengthen the core muscles and help protect the back. They are particularly effective for people with bad backs or hips, and also help prevent problems in these areas.
They are ideal if you want to kick-start your fitness and blast away sluggishness and stubborn fat. From a meditative point of view, they bring a clearer more positive ‘flavour’ to the consciousness. This weekend’s workshop will help us to tone muscle, protect the spine and joints and distress the mind.
As part of this yoga and core strength weekend retreat, Dave will take the group out on a guided hike into the Burren hills or by the sea.
This is a great way to get to see some special places in the Burren well away from the usual tourist places.
Followed by lunch at one of the local restaurants or cafes which is a great way to sample the best of the locale cuisine in the Burren.
After lunch there is time to chill out and relax at the centre, before the afternoon yoga class with Rachel.
The social aspect to these weekends where you meet like minded people is very refreshing, and a great way to make new friends.
Our aim is to pass on practical information physically and mentally so that not only will we feel stronger at the end of it but we’ll be empowered and equipped with the tools to continue a healing and enjoyable practice at home.
Rachel’s teaching is ideal to bring your health, fitness and well being to new levels, and be prepared for challenging practices that are ideal for strengthening and detoxing the body and for flexibility and toning as well as improving peace of mind and an overall sense of well being.
On Friday evening and Saturday evening Paddi who used to run Seventh Heaven restaurant for over 12 years, prepares a vegetarian dinner and many people have said they have not eaten vegetarian food as good as this at any restaurant.
This yoga and core strengthening weekend is guaranteed to leave you feeling toned, stretched, rejuvenated, refreshed and full of energy on all levels.
