    • Vinyasa flow yoga Instructor Bio Rachel Beare

Rachel Beare is a very experienced yoga teacher who has trained in Ashtanga yoga and Iyengar yoga as well as with many well know international yoga teachers.

Rachel combines physical yoga asana with breath work and also with meditation to bring an overall balanced approach to one’s practice.

Her teaching includes Vinyasa flow yoga which is a beautiful flowing form of yoga, and also Restorative yoga which help us to let go more deeply.

Her teaching also brings a lot of focus to strengthening of the core, and is an ideal way to learn new techniques which you can continue at home after the week.

” This Yin/Yang approach is a wonderful way to experience Yoga, the idea is that through the balance of active and passive, we can build our power without ever depleting our energy.”

“Yoga is about connecting and integrating the mind and body – the tangible and intangible so we can gain a deeper awareness and ultimately reach our fullest potential. We haven’t got to wait millennia of human generational evolution and trial and error….. we can evolve within our own lifetimes, right here, right now on our Yoga mats!”

Description of Vinyasa flow and Restorative yoga week retreat

Feel alive, awakened, relaxed, joyful and full of energy with Rachel

Who this Vinyasa flow and Restorative yoga week retreat is suitable for

Suitable for complete beginners to intermediate, but one should be prepared for a good challenge to your body.

Rachel will give variations so everyone practices at their own level and also goes at your own pace.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a beautifully dynamic way in which to activate heat, detoxification, flexibility and strength within the body.

Awaken and tone up the physical body, learn techniques to let go of the thoughts, free up the mind and tap into the essence of who we truly are.

This vinyasa flow yoga week will cover everything your body and mind needs !! – dynamic Vinyasa yoga as well as relaxing Restorative yoga, pranayama, relaxation, meditation and hiking in the Burren Hills together with excellent vegetarian food.

We will learn how to do individual traditional Yogasana (Yoga Postures) and when we get a solid understanding of them in their static format we well then explore creative and fun ways to transition from 1 posture to the next in a continuous dance-like flow.

The most important aspect of Yoga is heightening our awareness. One way Rachel brings this into your practice is by guiding you to be aware of the breath.

Using the breathing as a rhythmic and potent source of both mental and physical focus, and also tap into our boundless potential to rediscover a firm and loving ability to be utterly present.

Rachel teaches with honesty and good humour, with a lot of attention to detail so that your practice will develop and deepen over the week, and you will leave with new techniques and a way of doing the postures which you can practice with each day after the week is over.

“The benefits of Yoga are infinite, calming of the mind and stress reduction, longevity of movement in the joints, increased lung capacity, heightened awareness, promotion of strength, flexibility and health in both the mind and body! Detoxification, core strength, prevention of injury to name but a few….”

There will also be meditation classes which will introduce Meditation to beginners and also deepen the practice of those familiar with meditation.

The devotion of a daily practice brings discipline, steadiness and peacefulness, much needed nowadays as our society becomes rapidly more chaotic and noisy.

Each class is carefully planned and the Restorative yoga involve more gentle postures which have a more relaxing and therapeutic effect as well as a ‘releasing and letting go’.

These restorative postures are a lovely balance to the morning’s dynamic Vinyasa flow.

This Yin/Yang approach is a wonderful way to experience Yoga, the idea is that through the balance of active and passive, we can build our power without ever depleting our energy.

Throughout the week we will be getting an in-depth education on how to correctly use more gentle and supported Yogasana and breathing techniques in order to access the more therapeutic and meditative aspect of our Yoga Practice.

As part of this yoga and core strength week retreat, Dave will take the group out on guided outings into the Burren hills or by the sea.

This is a great way to get to see some special places in the Burren well away from the usual tourist places.

Followed by lunch at one of the local restaurants or cafes which is a great way to sample the best of the locale cuisine in the Burren.

After lunch there is time to chill out and relax at the centre, before the afternoon yoga class with Rachel.

The social aspect to these weeks where you meet like minded people is very refreshing, and a great way to make new friends.

This week will teach you techniques of both Vinyasa flow and also Restorative yoga and our aim is to give you sufficient information and experience so that you can continue with these practices on a daily basis when you go back home.

Rachel’s teaching is ideal to bring your yoga practice and well being to new levels.

We will practice a combination of pranayama (breath techniques) and guided meditation techniques that will help us not only to move into each present moment but to be fully comfortable there!

Once we learn how to be comfortable in the present moment happiness becomes abundant, and we can move away from stress, judgement and tension and experience gratitude, joy and love.

On Friday evening and Saturday evening Paddi who used to run Seventh Heaven restaurant for over 12 years, prepares a vegetarian dinner and many people have said they have not eaten vegetarian food as good as this at any restaurant.

This Vinyasa flow and Restorative yoga week will leave you feeling energized yet relaxed.
