Guided trip to Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher are an impressive sight, and one can see O Brien’s Tower on top of the cliffs.

O Brien’s tower stands at the top of the Cliffs of Moher.

The Cliffs are 120 metres (390 feet) above the Atlantic ocean.

These are people peering over the edge.

Spray coming up from the waves crashing into the cliffs.

From another perspective one can see how these people are actually standing on a rock which is protruding.

The drop below is scary to even think about.

But a much more fun and enjoyable way to see the Cliffs of Moher is to take the boat trip on one of our week long yoga retreat holidays during the summer months.

We always chose a day when the waves are less than 2 foot, and the boat is able to get in close to the cliffs to see the bird life.

From the boat one can really appreciate the magnificence of the Cliffs of Moher.

And one can see the Puffins and Guillemots nesting on the rocks.

These guided outings on our yoga retreats are a great way to get to know new friends and to chat and laugh with the other retreat participants.

The boat is very steady and able to get very close to the rocks provided the sea is calm.

The ever changing light over the Atlantic ocean makes these boat trips even more impressive.

We only take a maximum of 15 people on our yoga retreats and over 90% of people come on their own.
Irish people are very social and it is only a short while before everybody is chatting as if they knew each other all their lives.

Above 30% of retreat participants are from over seas, and there is a great mix of all ages and all cultures on our retreats.
