Burren Broadband Initiative
Dave Brocklebank of the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre has started an initiative to bring in better broadband to the whole Burren area.
Already there are 50 businesses within the Burren Ecotourism Network involved and also over 60 individuals and more who are looking for better broadband are signing up each day.
Are you interested in better Broadband Service?
Please use the link below to fill in your contact details, and where you are located, and saying that you wish to find out more about what improvements in the broadband service that you can get in the Burren area.
You are not committing to anything.
However, I will then check with the local providers to see what improved broadband signal they can supply in your area.
We will then keep you updated on what becomes available.
Strength of Numbers increases Buying Power
Dave is using ‘strength of numbers’ of people who want better broadband service to approach the local Broadband Suppliers to encourage them to install the necessary repeater stations and masts in order to provide better broadband service throughout the Burren.
Additional repeater stations and masts cost money.
We are building up the numbers of people looking for better Broadband, in order to justify one of the local Broadband Suppliers to add the additional equipment to their existing network, in order to improve and expand the service.
The more people we have interested in signing up in your local area, will increase our buying power. So please do tell your neighbours about this Initiative and ask them to fill in the form below.
Fill in Your Contact Details on the Broadband Survey
It will take you approx 5 minutes to fill in.
The form lets you fill in your contact details, and your location.
And if you already have a broadband service, it asks you to fill in some information about how your current Broadband connection is performing.
Please fill in the form by clicking on the link below.
