I spent a wonderful week of meditation and yoga at the Burren Yoga Retreat during April 2017. This was my second visit to the retreat which is superbly run and organised. The centre draws me back for many reasons including the tranquillity of the location; a real rustic down to earth feel with a blend of uplifting spirituality and peace; the exquisite vegetarian food professionally prepared; the day trips to the beautiful Burren landscape with lunch at the finest local restaurants with menus to suit all tastes. Any one of these is reason enough to come to this wonderful place. Above all it’s the quality of the teaching.

I spent a weekend at the Burren Retreat Centre…I didn’t want to leave and I’d love to go back. It was the ideal place to get away to, to ‘switch off’ for the weekend. I’d highly recommend it, even if you’ve no experience of yoga or meditation. The centre is lovely, comfortable and homely and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Dave is a fantastic host and an engaging teacher.

The Burren Yoga Centre is a little gem in the West of Ireland. Dave the owner was a wonderful host and guide. Niamh is down to earth and a really fantastic teacher. Her classes were challenging but very rewarding as we improved more and more each day. The outdoor adventures were breath-taking, from taking a boat trip to see the Cliffs of Moher, to hiking up the Burren hills, to visiting a hermits cave deep in a hidden forest, to meditating under the famous Dolmen and swimming in the Atlantic.

I cannot recommend this yoga and meditation centre enough! The centre is located in the beautiful and peaceful Burren, providing the perfect location for a weekend of relaxation.

Dave could not have been more helpful or welcoming to all the guests! The centre itself is clean, comfortable and very homely. The days spent here are filled with great yoga classes, the most amazing vegetarian food and day trips in the Burren.

No matter what your reason for attending a yoga retreat at The Burren Yoga Retreat Centre, you are guaranteed to come away feeling relaxed, reenergised and fulfilled! I am already planning my next visit!
