Burren Yoga Accommodation
At the Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre you have a choice of accommodation of
- sharing with others
- single room
- twin room (only if 2 of you are booking together)
- double room (only if two of you booking or you want to treat yourself to the room for yourself)
- room for 4 reserved just for 1 or 2 of you
We have one room for 6, two rooms for 4, three single rooms and two double rooms.
We can sleep 21 people but we only ever take a maximum of 15 people on any of our retreats.
We have men sharing in one of the dorms and women in the other.
Most people come on their own, and if you select ‘sharing’ on your booking form, we will allocate you a shared room with same sex and similar age group.
Covid-19 Precautions
We are only taking 10 guests on each of our retreats.
For the foreseeable future, if you are booking by yourself, you may only book a single room.
If there are two of you booking, you may book either a twin or a double.
If there are 3 of you booking, you may book a room for 3.
All bedrooms are thoroughly cleansed top to bottom after guests leave, and all bed linen washed at high temperatures.
We don’t allow anybody attend who has been
- on a plane
- in contact with anybody who is infected or high risk of being infected
- feeling unwell in any way (including sore throat, cough, high temperature, loss of sense of smell or taste)
within the past 21 days preceding the retreat.
This is to ensure that we maintain a very safe environment for our guests and also staff.
Apologies that we can’t take bookings from anybody from abroad for the foreseeable future.
Hotel quality mattresses and bedlinen
The mattresses are very high quality ortopaedic mattresses with a top layer of memory foam, ensuring one of the most comfortable sleeps.
The bedlinen is high thread count Egyptian cotton and lovely to slip into after a full day of yoga, meditation, outdoor activities, eating amazing vegetarian food and laughing and socialising with like minded people.
All the beds are freshly made up before you arrive and there are also fresh towels laid out on your bed.
You will be supplied with a bath and hand towel.
All the bedrooms have underfloor heating and are warm and cosy even in the Winter.
Bathrooms sharing
We have 4 shared bathrooms (each with a shower, hand basin and toilet) and an extra toilet shared between the 15 retreat participants.
We don’t have any en-suite bathrooms at the yoga centre.
One of the bathrooms has a bath where you can soak and relax.
Individually hand carved bunk beds
The beds have been individually hand carved by our local carpenter Johnny Ray.
The shared accommodation has bunk beds. These are not ‘the usual bunk beds’ and the top bunk is hand carved and suspended from the ceiling.
The lower bunk is completely independent from the upper bunk with plenty of headroom in between.
Small bedrooms with little storage space
Please be aware that the bedrooms are very small and there are no wardrobes. There is very little shelf space to store your belongings.
There is more information within the TABs section above.
